There are many opportunities for Student Leadership at RI. As a school, we are educating our future leaders and opportunities to take a leadership role are crucial for personal growth.
Head ۶Ƶ
At the end of each year, teachers nominate students who have displayed characteristics that would make them excellent leaders and role models. After an interview process with Senior Management our Head ۶Ƶ are named for the year.
Student Council
The Student Council has a very important role to play in our ۶Ƶ. Not only is it involved with organising events such as mufti days, prize giving, socials and fundraising but most importantly they are role models and represent the “student voice” for our ۶Ƶ.
Student Council members are selected by the class teacher with input from classmates.
The Student Council meets weekly with the Deputy Principal to discuss a variety of topics including school life, current events and student welfare. The Councillors are responsible for being the link between the class they represent and the ۶Ƶ’s Leadership team.
